Original post author: Ryan Last week was the sixth annual 'International' dota championship. As the name suggests, teams from all over the globe gather in Seattle to compete in a video game named dota. This is 5 vs 5 team game that emphasizes teamwork, tactics, and individual talent. The total prize pool was over 20 million dollars, 9 million of which was given to the winning team. This year the title went to a team from China. A mixed American/European team came in second place after surprising everyone with some big upsets in the bracket. I always find this fun to watch. I was impressed by the overall production quality of the tournament coverage this year. The picture is of the analyst desk, which was momentarily occupied by muppet versions of the personalities at one point.
