Original post author: Ryan Future Islands released their new album The Far Field today. I like these guys. Their sound is weird, but I find it to be uniquely refreshing. This album is good. If you listen long enough to make it to the second-to-last track, you can enjoy a cameo from the Blondie lead singer, Debbie Harry, who seems to be collaborating with many people nowadays (including Schmoyoho, the creators of "auto-tune the news" and the delightful double-rainbow song). I recommended you check this album out if you want to hear something different. If you like it, then I suggest you go onto YouTube and watch their performance on David Letterman a few years ago. You won't be disappointed.
