Original post author: Ryan Last weekend Jess and I attended a nerdy dota (videogame) tournament in Boston. We had a good time watching an American team play, and then we watched the finals between two European teams. Even the uninitiated could appreciate the exciting moments and the enthusiasm of the crowd. Dota is not a game for the faint of heart, and the dedication and mastery of the professional players comes through very clearly. It was a fun experience for me, and a peculiar one for Jess - even though I think she enjoyed it too. I send my thanks to Jess's mom, Judy, for dog-sitting for us and making our experience possible.
