Original post author: Ryan I recommend an iPhone app named Pikazo. It's free to download and use, with some optional features that you can pay money for. The app can basically re-render an image in a selected art style. As you can see, I did a picture of Violet a bunch of different ways. There is interesting technology that goes into these renderings. The app is processing the images on Pikazo's servers using something called an artificial neural network. The neural network recognizes shapes/features within the original image, and then replaces them with similar shapes/features that are occurring in the piece of art that is being simulated. Each image takes about 3 to 4 minutes to generate.
