Original post author: Ryan Factorio is my favorite game of the year. It's a factory building game - like a giant nerdy sandbox. It lets you be creative while also pushing you to optimize your creations. It's relaxing, stimulating, and wonderful. Factorio even allows you to collaborate with other players online. It's a lot of fun for a group of strangers to assign you a part of their factory and to trust you to build it efficiently - and when you're done, people might stop by and admire (or critique) your work. It has a good and cooperative community. I think I've made it clear that I like this game. Now if Violet would just settle down I'd be able to play it again :P
