Original post author: Ryan I went to see Dropkick Murphys on Saturday with friends. Seeing these guys on the Saturday after Saint Patrick's Day...in Boston...isn't for the faint of heart. But, the crowd was less psycho than I thought they were going to be, which in some ways left me a little disappointed. I guess the band - and the fans - are getting older. As one of my friends said it, "they don't have as much kick anymore." Although all the true fans probably think their big hit - "Shipping up to Boston" is overplayed, I saw it as the highlight of their show.
