Original post author: Ryan I didn't mention Jess's family in my last post about Colorado, but they were a big part of our trip. We spent a majority of our time with Jess's Uncle Paul, Aunt Jana, as well as her cousins, nieces, and nephews (of which there are many many many). They are a very friendly and welcoming bunch. The gang drove to Vail on the third day (Monday). We stopped at several scenic places along the way, including a spot on the Continental Divide. Vail is a ski town, but they do a good job at keeping the town alive during the warm months. We took a gondola to the top of the mountain, where there were various activities. We also spent time in the town areas, which felt like a cross between a giant ski lodge and a shopping mall.
