Colorado: Day four

cometdotcool

Original post author: Ryan Jess and I visited Boulder on Tuesday morning. We walked up and down the main drag, Pearl Street, and then stopped in at a brewery which I don't remember the name of. Then we drove to Denver and walked around the area known as "Lodo." We saw Union Station, and we stopped at a few bars/breweries/coffee shops. We particularly liked a brewery named Ratio (recommended to us by Mike). Right next door to Ratio is a good cafe named Crema. After Denver, we went to Red Rocks for the Ryan Adams concert. Red Rocks was a great venue in many ways: sound quality, size of seats (or should I say standing space), visibility, even food/drink options. The concert was good. Ryan Adams wore a T-shirt from his own merchandise shop, leading me to believe that all of his own clothes were dirty prior to the show. The show had a nice mix of music and plenty of jam sessions. On a few occasions, he shredded guitar so hard that it caused lightning to strike behind the stage.
