Original post author: Ryan As some of you may know, I am traveling for work this Monday/Tuesday. I set my clock radio alarm as well as my phone alarm, just to be safe. But true th fully, I have very little faith in my clock radio alarm. Realistically, a clock radio alarm can fail to wake you up for a number of reasons. Please enjoy this list of classic clock radio alarm failures:
the alarm volume is turn down really low
the alarm is set to radio mode, and the radio is tuned to a gentle static
the am/pm switch is set incorrectly on the time
the am/pm switch is set incorrectly on the alarm
the clock radio can support two different alarms, and you set the time for one, but turned on the other one
the alarm time is set, but the alarm switch is not on
daylight saving time somehow screws you over
everything was set up perfectly, but the power went out and the clock's memory got reset
