Original post author: Ryan So I haven't posted anything in almost a week. Jess and I have been rather busy with work, the dog, and other miscellany. Jess and I have been so busy that, earlier this week, I bought a calendar. It's a time of unprecedented busyness! I don't often own a calendar. Which might explain why I took so long to memorize the order of the months. By the way - whoever named the months of the year didn't do me any favors. The early months end with "uary" and the late months end in "ber", which is nice. But you're totally on your own when it comes to memorizing those middle months. Plus, there are just so many months. Why do we need 12? It would be much better with just 4 months. One for each season. Months are just messy. They all have different numbers of days - and there is no telling which day of the week a month is going to start on. It's madness. The picture above is a bagel making machine that is in a Framingham bagel store. This is the first in my two-part bagel machinery post. You can look forward to part two in the near future.
